Campus Emden

In the canteen on the university campus in Emden, we provide you with a wide range of culinary delights. Here you will find a wide selection of hot dishes, fresh salads and delicious soups, which we provide for you at lunchtime. Our canteen offers space for almost 400 guests. You can choose a main course and put together exactly what you fancy from a variety of side dishes.

Many products are sourced from local farms, and beef and pork are supplied from species-appropriate husbandry. Like all catering establishments of the Studierendenwerk Oldenburg, Mensa Emden is also certified organic.

Families can expect a special service: There is an area in the canteen with high chairs and other child-friendly furniture so that even the little ones can dine safely and comfortably. In addition, as in all Studierendenwerk canteens, parents can use the children's plate for their children. We have developed these family-friendly offers in cooperation with the Family Service of the Equal Opportunities Office at Emden/Leer University of Applied Sciences to ensure that you and your family have an all-round successful stay.

During the semester break, the canteen closes 15 minutes earlier.

There is also a small breakfast offer in the cafeteria during the semester break:

The canteen building is currently not accessible via automatic doors. There is a lift to the canteen on the 1st floor.

CaféLounge

The CaféLounge offers a wide range of snacks and drinks in a cosy atmosphere. Coffee specialities and cold drinks, fresh cakes, quark dishes, yoghurt and sweets as well as a large selection of rolls and sandwiches ensure that you don't go hungry during your breaks. As sustainability is very important to us, coffee and tea as well as some sweets are fair trade. If you bring your own children, we will provide colouring materials at the CaféLounge cash desk. We make this offer in cooperation with the Family Service of the Equal Opportunities Office of Emden/Leer University of Applied Sciences.
