Open consultation hours
Counsellor Wiebke Hendeß offers regular consultation hours on campus. The dates are announced well in advance here on the website, in the counsellor's newsletter, on social media and on posters on campus.
Consultation hour on demand
The counsellor also offers a needs consultation. Simply get in touch with her if you would like some on-site counselling. She will then collect a few people who are interested and come to Wilhelmshaven for personal counselling at short notice if possible. And of course you can contact the counsellor at any time by email or phone.

Direct help with structural or infrastructural problems
Is the doorbell hanging too high? Does a car park need to be marked? Or do you need a suitable locker for disability-related equipment?
As a student at Jade University of Applied Sciences, you can contact the on-site building management team directly with such enquiries. They will help you quickly and easily.

Counselling and help for hearing-impaired people and their relatives. Occupational counselling and support in finding a job on behalf of the Integration Office. Information and counselling also for colleagues and employers.

Wilhelmshaven Health Working Group
The working group has compiled the very comprehensive "Guide for Wilhelmshaven and the surrounding area with a guide for the disabled". It contains the addresses of counselling facilities, self-help groups, care services, etc. Unfortunately, the guide is out of print. However, it can be obtained from the AStA or the Disability Officer at the FH.
