BAföG is the state education grant that reliably finances your studies. You can receive up to 992 euros per month!

Even before you start your studies, you will have some expenses: semester fees, rent deposit if necessary, perhaps a new laptop... If this becomes difficult, there are possibilities for support:

If you received state benefits immediately before starting your studies, you can receive 1,000 euros in study start-up aid.

Alternative: 500 Euro student start loan

The Studierendenwerk Oldenburg itself grants loans of up to 500 euros, which you can get before enrolment.
