The Studierendenwerk canteen on the Jade University campus cooks three main meals a day, at least one of which is vegetarian or vegan. You can add other components such as salad, vegetables, soup and dessert to the main dishes to suit your taste and appetite.

Many products are sourced from local farms, and beef and pork are supplied from species-appropriate husbandry. Like all catering establishments of the Studierendenwerk Oldenburg, Mensa Ofener Straße is also certified organic.
